PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: Active certification through AANP/ANCC
- Licenses: Active TN RN License, TN NP License, TN DEA with Prescriptive Authority
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS
- Experience: 2 years of recent experience preferred; new grads considered
- Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years, Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME, MMR/Varicella immunity documentation, TB test
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED during night shifts.
- Manage a high volume of patient encounters (approximately 93 per day total department).
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and other advanced practice providers.
- Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies.
