NP/PA in Pain Management - Phelps Health - Rolla, MO

Position Highlights:

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist the collaborating physician by supporting clinical duties.

• Conduct holistic evaluations of pain symptoms, assessing physical, nutritional, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

• Diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic pain conditions.

• Carefully monitor prescriptions, manage potential drug interactions, and tailor regimens based on organ function, comorbidities, and nutritional status.

• Offer tailored health screenings and preventive counseling for lifestyle modifications.

• Assess daily functioning, recommend assistive devices, and advise on safety.

• Explain conditions, treatment, and preventive strategies in clear, understandable ways.

   

Location:

• This is a full-time position based at the Phelps Health Medical Office Building in Rolla, Missouri.
