Job Description
General Purpose of Job:
Responsible for the provision of clinical care and patient education for adult gynecological patients under the clinical guidance and supervision of the physician. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner works independently in performing daily responsibilities as appropriate under their license and within their scope of practice.

Job Requirements

Work Experience None Education • Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program • Current BCLS • Current State of Michigan APP Certification (NP or PA) • Successful completion of hospital accreditation Specialized Knowledge and Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively and appropriately communicate with patients, families, physicians and other caregivers • Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/ social, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned area. The skills and knowledge needed to provide such care may be gained through education, training or experience.
University of Michigan Health - Sparrow is seeking an enthusiastic APP for our Nephrology team. The Nephrology practice provides exceptional inpatient and outpatient care to adult Nephrology patients. University of Michigan Health - Sparrow delivers quality care in a diverse and family-friendly community and is committed to improving access to medical care across the Mid-Michigan region.
8 hour shifts M-F and 1 Saturday per month
No call
Outpatient and Inpatient
Experience with Nehprology patients is a plus
