Walk-In Care - Weekend Shift - 0.3 FTE

Join a Walk-In Care team committed to customer service and patient-centered care. This continually growing clinic provides healthcare services to a variety of patients in both the Walk-In Care and Family Medicine settings. The NP/PA will collaborate with a great group of fellow advanced practice clinicians, physicians and support staff. The Candidate will be required to rotate among other area walk-in campuses for coverage (ND & MN licensure and DEA required.)
• Must be able to care for all ages within scope of practice. Experience in family medicine, walk-in care, emergency medicine or urgent care setting is preferred! • 0.3 FTE, 12 hours a week, Part-time status Weekend coverage only; Providing care 9am - 5pm on Saturday, and 12pm-5pm on Sunday. • Weekend coverage only; Providing care 9am - 5pm on Saturday, and 12pm-5pm on Sunday. • Patient volume from 25-35 per 12-hr shift • No call • EPIC electronic medical record • Great team with strong mentors • ND & MN licensure and DEA required for cross coverage at other Walk-In Clinics
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision- making skills, the NP/PA works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. NP/PAs provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
• Masters or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelors/Masters degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution. • Ability to care for all ages within scope is required. Experience in Family Medicine, Walk-in, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine is preferred! • ND & MN licensure and DEA required for cross coverage
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in ND & MN • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in ND & MN • Current certification in CPR • National certification, in applicable area. • Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
