Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extension

Employment Type: W2 Contract

Rate: $48 $55/hr W2

Experience: 4 6 Years

Position Overview:

We are seeking a NPI Manufacturing Engineer to support New Product Introduction activities within a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical Drug Product manufacturing environment.

The NPI Lead will be responsible for leading Technology Transfer project planning and serving as a key interface between site manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing operations, NPI, technology transfer, process development, and cross-functional project leadership within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within a Drug Product manufacturing facility
  • Own and coordinate Technology Transfer project planning
  • Serve as a key interface between manufacturing site teams and broader network functions
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Development, Supply Chain, Quality, Facilities, and Engineering teams
  • Lead cross-functional projects and drive project deliverables and timelines
  • Support successful introduction of new products into manufacturing operations
  • Apply knowledge of Drug Product technical processes and manufacturing operations
  • Support decision-making related to manufacturing processes and NPI activities
  • Apply scientific methods and quantitative/analytical troubleshooting techniques
  • Coordinate activities across multiple functional teams to ensure NPI readiness
  • Provide effective communication and indirect project leadership
  • Support manufacturing process improvements and operational readiness
  • Maintain project plans, documentation, and status updates as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 6 years of experience in manufacturing, NPI, process engineering, technology transfer, or related engineering/manufacturing functions
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Drug Product manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Development, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Engineering teams
