Job Summary
The NPI Technical Writer creates and manages documentation, preliminary assembly procedures, and assists engineering staff in producing formalized assembly procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation & Technical Writing:
Create, prepare, and maintain accurate technical documents, including work instructions, engineering bulletins, and failure analysis reports.
Process Development & Documentation:
Helping to establish and document manufacturing processes and work instructions.
Collaboration & Communication:
Working with design, manufacturing, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth product introduction.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyzing technical data to identify areas for improvement and providing reports on productivity and quality.
Process Optimization:
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and yield.
Assist ME in improving Unigen's system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control, and training of NPI.
Coordinate the manufacturing launch of the new/revised product.
Manage and document NPI ECO / MCO change requirements - create or update instructions and tooling if required and coordinate with production to implement necessary changes.
