Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Towers and Structures is seeking applicants for our Inventory Analyst position. The teammate in this position must be successful working in a team setting or independently on projects that will help the division reach its goals.
This is a developmental role and the duties of the role include but are not limited to:
Receiving/entering all raw material warehouse and steel products.
Receiving/verifying inventory amounts daily.
Receiving MRO all other purchased category items for the division.
Completing inventory tracking and investigating discrepancies.
Managing cycle counts and physical inventory counts with the plant.
Preparing reports. Month end reporting for receiving and allocation of materials to jobs.
Completing inventory adjustments and inventory movement with outside processors.
Addressing any inventory concerns from internal customers.
Filing and scanning of inventory documents including MTR's.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
This position will be at the division site location but will require travel to other production facilities on an as-needed basis.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proven commitment to safety.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft office applications.
Critical thinking skills.
Ability to plan around month/year end closings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with purchasing or inventory control.
Ability to analyze and think strategically
