The Business Development Manager, Nuclear is responsible for driving brand awareness, brand preference, and sustainable growth in new, emerging, or underserved markets. This role focuses on expanding market presence, shaping customer perception, and developing long-term strategic markets and opportunities for WIKA. The BDM acts as a proactive market creator, identifying and developing customers and opportunities where the brand is not yet widely adopted.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:

Market Strategy & Growth

  • Drive market strategy and identify growth opportunities

  • Develop strategic customer and partner relationships

  • Lead customer engagement and position value-based solutions

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customer solutions

  • Represent WIKA at industry events, conferences and trade shows

  • Build, track, and maintain a disciplined growth pipeline.

Applications, Technical Guidance & Training

  • Serve as a recognized subject matter expert on relevant applications, industry standards, and solution requirements.
  • Provide expert technical and commercial guidance to internal teams, distributors, and customers.

Go-to- Market Execution

  • Translate strategy into actionable, well-structured go-to-market plans.
  • Develop segment specific value propositions, case studies, and compelling, persuasive application guidance.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical/scientific field.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or market strategy within industries relevant to the assigned market segment.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Demonstrated history of consistent new business generation and relationship development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel, nationally 50% or as required by the market.
  • Strategic, data-driven thinker with the ability to solve complex challenges.
  • Highly effective relationship builder across technical, commercial, and operational levels.
