The Program Director leads a strategic initiative focused on commercializing advanced energy systems while building capabilities that support long-term nuclear technology development. This role is accountable for end-to-end program execution, integrating cross-functional teams to deliver a first-of-a-kind sCO₂-based power platform on schedule and within budget.

Description
In this role you will report directly into Senior Leadership and will be responsible for:
- Leading all aspects of a flagship commercial energy program, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
- Developing and maintaining the integrated master schedule, program plans, milestones, and performance metrics
- Coordinating cross-functional activities across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, testing, finance, and commercial teams
- Driving accountability for deliverables and commitments across internal functions and external partners
- Coordinating development and integration of a next-generation sCO₂ power system architecture
- Managing program-level design reviews, readiness reviews, and key decision milestones
- Leading testing and demonstration activities, including system validation, performance characterization, and incorporation of lessons learned
- Overseeing supplier engagement, including selection, contract execution, performance management, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinating development and qualification of advanced heat exchanger technology and additive manufacturing partnerships
- Leading certification and qualification activities to meet applicable standards and customer requirements
- Driving transition from development into manufacturing readiness and supporting commercialization and deployment planning
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience leading complex, multidisciplinary hardware development programs
- Proven track record of delivering products from concept or prototype through production readiness
- Experience coordinating engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, testing, quality, and commercial functions
- Strong experience managing external suppliers and strategic partners
- Solid understanding of systems engineering and product development processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience in energy systems, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, or similarly complex industries preferred
