Nuclear Med Tech– Full Time

We’re seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET/CT experience for a permanent role with an area healthcare client in Atlanta, GA where you’ll be responsible for accurately interpreting a physician’s scanning instructions, skillfully administering radiopharmaceuticals and contrast materials as applicable, and expertly operating PET/CT and related nuclear medicine equipment in both fixed and mobile/coach-based settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT where required by state regulations is preferred for regional roles.
• Willingness to work in mobile/coach unit environments. Typical staffing model is two technologists per mobile unit.
• Long-term commitment to quality patient care preferred by the client.
• Willingness to travel between coverage sites within the region, including UConn, Winchester, Mt. Auburn, and White River Junction.
