Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors. This person is responsible for working under the direction of a board certified radiologist, performing nuclear medicine procedures of varying complexities on infant, child, adolescent, adult and later adult patients, ensuring quality images of all appropriate anatomical structures for interpretation by the responsible radiologist. Maintaining ALARA at all times.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Exceptional Patient Care: Must understand we exist for the patients and make their care the number one priority.

  • Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family member.

  • Strong Educator: Instructs students and precepts new colleagues as assigned. Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.

  • Technical Familiarity: Ability to draft and implement imaging protocols to ensure image quality. Understanding in computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.

  • Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of Accredited 2 or 4 year Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

  • Certification: ARRT and/or CNMT through the NMTCB.

  • Experience: 3+ years of previous experience in a general Nuclear Medicine department preferred.
