Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related healthcare field.

Certifications Requirements:

  • NMTCB Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • State Licensure in Wisconsin

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience with GE equipment, including SPECT CT and models

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to support departmental floating between NM and PET departments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to start IVs and support patient care

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide nuclear medicine imaging services, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care, including PET scans and general nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Collaborate with the department supervisor and other nuclear medicine technologists to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot GE imaging equipment, including models supporting SPECT CT and other nuclear medicine modalities.
  • Document all procedures accurately within the EPIC system and other relevant charting platforms.
  • Support department float between NM and PET units, providing flexible coverage and assisting with patient care as needed.
