Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Certification or degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS, NMTCB certification
  • Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of relevant experience in nuclear medicine technologist roles
  • Other Requirements: Ability to start IVs, excellent communication skills, proficiency with GE equipment and SPECT CT, good interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nuclear medicine imaging services, including PET and SPECT scans, ensuring accurate and timely imaging for patient diagnosis.
  • Maintain and operate GE imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration, safety, and functionality throughout scheduled shifts.
  • Assist in rotating between the NM and PET departments, supporting workflow and patient care in both areas.
  • Perform patient IVs and other preparatory procedures with professionalism and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Document all procedures accurately in EPIC and other charting systems, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and standards.
