Nuclear Medicine/PET Tech - Kettering, OH

A healthcare organization is looking for a PET Technologist for a full-time, first-shift opportunity in the Kettering, Ohio area.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, first shift

• Perform PET and PET/CT imaging procedures

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures

• Calculate, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals

• Operate PET and PET/CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

• Process and reconstruct imaging data

• Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment

• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

What We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent education required for state licensure

• Clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine or PET imaging; accredited clinical internship experience may qualify

• NMTCB certification or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine

• Ohio Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain within the required timeframe

• Current BLS certification

• Experience operating PET and PET/CT imaging equipment

• Strong patient care and communication skills

• Additional PET training, 1+ year of Nuclear Medicine experience, ARRT CT certification, and ACLS are preferred
