Job Summary and Responsibilities
This position may qualify for up to $15,000 Sign on bonus
Provides Technical expertise in Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with the mission and philosophy of CHI St Alexius Health
Performs quality assurance checks on equipment and procedure areas
Ensures proper safety standards are met
Operates equipment necessary to produce scans under established guidelines and protocols
Properly identifies and explains procedures to each patient
Prepares and positions patient for procedures by established NM protocols to achieve the highest quality image
Assists in maintaining supply inventory
Participates in on-going improvement efforts and completes competencies as required
Job Requirements
Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine, Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Clinical experience as obtained during Nuclear Medicine and Radiologic Technology schooling
May cross-train as allowed by the NDMIRTB
Administrative rules
Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, date entry and analysis, computer skills
