The Nuclear Medical Technologist uses radioactive materials for the in vivo and/or in vitro diagnosis of various conditions.  The Technologist employs radioactive materials in accordance with hospital, state, and federal standards and maintains a quality control program of all equipment and activities associated with the function of the department.  The Nuclear Medical Technologist is responsible to the Department Manager and Radiologist on staff.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of approved program in Nuclear Medicine, or equivalent.
  • Possess a current registry in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT or CNMT) training, OBMI license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Be well-groomed and demonstrate appropriate conduct.
  • Listing classification is heavy.
