Under supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, the intern will perform all assigned nuclear medicine procedures on adult, geriatric, pediatric and adolescent patients. The intern will also be responsible for completing all baseline training for areas assigned to include baseline knowledge of textbook and journal material. Under supervision, the intern will perform various technical procedures which require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed services.
- Require currently enrolled in or a graduate (AA/AS Degree) of a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.
- Require obtaining registry in American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within two (2) years of employment.
- Prefer vocational training in an allied health profession (i.e., EMTs, CMAs, or RAIs) with one (1) year of work experience.
