What Youll Do
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including gastric emptying, HIDA scans, bone scans, brain scans, liver/spleen scans, lung perfusions, renal flow studies, shunt imaging, thyroid scans, tumor localization, and myocardial assessments.
Prepare and handle radioactive materials in accordance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively using EPIC and Pyxis systems.
Assist in patient preparation and venous blood draws as needed.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards, including PPE and isolation precautions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
What You Need
Required:
ARRT N and CNMT certifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in nuclear medicine, including cardiac and pediatric procedures
Experience with Siemens equipment and procedures listed above
Ability to start IVs, handle radioactive materials safely, and follow PPE protocols
Preferred:
Previous charge and trauma-level experience (Level I & II)
