Job Summary and Qualifications
Nuclear Medicine Technologist RSO
Our imaging teams are a committed caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist RSO on a full-time basis. As a Nuc Med Tech RSO at HCA Florida you will ensure that all activities involving radioactive materials and equipment capable of producing radiation are performed safely and in accordance with approved policies. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others this could be your next opportunity.
Your tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to
Interact with administration medical staff and department directors to provide quality patient care
Implementation of the Radiation Safety Program
Maintain compliance with the facilitys Radioactive Materials License and applicable Department of Health Control of Radiation Hazard
Monitoring adherence to regulations including but not limited to the definition of 64E-5.605
Authorized by senior management to stop a procedure if in the RSOs judgment that operation is unsafe or in violation of policies
Assure compliance with the facilities policies and State and Federal regulations
Have authority over any departmentdepartment director that utilizes ionizing emitting equipment for the purposes of safe practices
Qualifications
Associate Degree
Active State of Florida Department of Health licensure CRT
Current Basic Life Support BLS certification
3-5 years of experience as a Radiologist with at least 1 year as a Radiology Technologist
ARRT N andor NMTCB credentials
Critical thinking service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills ability to readcomprehend written instructions ability to follow verbal instruction PC skills
Prior supervisory experience preferred
