Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Torrance, CA
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Days | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Travel Pay: $2000 to $2600/weekly (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety and exceptional imaging standards. This position includes rotational call coverage and may require floating to a nearby affiliated facility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures as ordered by physicians.

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.

• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment.

• Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and ensure patient safety.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic.

• Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and departmental protocols.

• Participate in rotational call coverage.

• Float to affiliated facilities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT Certification.

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) Certification.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.

• Active California license.

• Ability to participate in rotational call coverage.

• RTO must be disclosed at the time of submission.

Preferred Qualifications

• First-time travelers welcome.

• Experience with Epic EMR.

Call Requirements

• Rotational call required.

• Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

• Weekends: 8:00 AM – 7:00 AM.

• Weekend daytime coverage as scheduled.
