How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals precisely following strict safety protocols to ensure accurate mapping and high-quality imaging for diagnostic clarity.
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to detect, map, and create vital diagnostic visuals that physicians rely on for critical patient interpretations.
  • Position and support patients throughout the imaging process, selecting accurate technical factors to maximize comfort while ensuring the highest quality of clinical data.
  • Manage diagnostic data and image submissions directly to PACS, ensuring meticulous quality control, accurate patient history, and flawless documentation for the clinical team.
  • Maintain equipment integrity and safety by proactively monitoring functionality, reporting malfunctions, and following radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and peers.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
  • Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate''s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
