Description:The Nuclear Medicine Technologist functions as a Scientific Technologist (Chemistry) and is fully trained and independent in performing routine nuclear medicine procedures. This role supports the department and service line by delivering high-quality diagnostic exams and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with the Nuclear Medicine Physician, the technologist performs the full range of diagnostic imaging procedures, analyzes biological specimens, and assists with both therapeutic and diagnostic interventions. Key responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and accurately documenting the distribution of radiotracers within the patient’s body.
