Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support a busy outpatient cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have experience performing nuclear cardiology procedures, stress testing, and PET/CT imaging while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule

  • Day Shift
  • 8-Hour Shifts
  • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Monday through Friday

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
  • CNMT Certification required upon hire or ARRT certification

Experience Requirements

  • Outpatient clinic experience preferred
  • Experience performing nuclear cardiology procedures independently
  • Ability to manage daily workflow in a high-volume cardiology practice

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine and cardiac imaging procedures according to established protocols
  • Conduct and assist with cardiac stress testing procedures
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
  • Monitor patients during imaging and stress testing procedures
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards
  • Document procedures accurately and timely
