- Day Shift
- 4x10 Hour Shifts
- 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Position Summary
A respected acute care healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support its imaging department for a 13-week assignment. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative clinical environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental standards
- Safely prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Monitor patient condition and provide excellent patient care throughout procedures
- Accurately document patient information within the EMR system
- Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff to ensure quality outcomes
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection prevention guidelines
- Conduct routine quality control checks on imaging equipment
- Ensure a professional and patient-focused imaging experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active BLS Certification required
- CNMT or NMTCB Certification required
- Active Indiana license required at the time of submission
- Previous hospital experience required
- EMR/charting experience preferred
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations preferred
