Pulse Staffing is seeking experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join one of the most respected healthcare systems in Baytown, Texas. Schedule Options  

  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday – Saturday – Sunday – Monday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

On-Call Requirements

  • One weekday of on-call per week
  • Rotating weekend on-call coverage required

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Start intravenous (IV) lines for the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and contrast when indicated.
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment while maintaining image quality standards.
  • Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and obtain appropriate patient history.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
  • Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and quality control procedures are completed according to departmental guidelines.
