Schedule Options
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday – Saturday – Sunday – Monday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
On-Call Requirements
- One weekday of on-call per week
- Rotating weekend on-call coverage required
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
- Perform diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Start intravenous (IV) lines for the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and contrast when indicated.
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment while maintaining image quality standards.
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and obtain appropriate patient history.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and quality control procedures are completed according to departmental guidelines.
