Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Nuclear Medicine Tech will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and treatment by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and capturing high-quality imaging studies for physicians.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
Certification from NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (N) required
State licensure (if applicable)
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience
Strong technical expertise, safety knowledge, and patient care focus
Nuclear Med Tech Contract Details:
$2,240 - $2,505 per week* estimated weekly
13 weeks, with possibility to extend
Hospital setting
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture accurate images
Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings
Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards
Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information
