Position Overview

The Judge Group is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic clinical team within a high-quality healthcare environment. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in a collaborative setting and is committed to delivering precise diagnostic imaging while ensuring a safe and supportive patient experience.

You will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to perform advanced nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures, utilizing sound clinical judgment and adhering to strict radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Imaging & Clinical Execution

• Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Ensure accuracy and quality of diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety at all times
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required for procedures

Patient Care & Experience

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while addressing individual physical and emotional needs
• Educate patients on procedures and provide clear instructions before, during, and after exams
• Maintain a professional and supportive environment throughout the patient experience

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in accordance with established procedures
• Conduct routine safety checks and adhere to infection control standards

Quality Control & Documentation

• Perform daily equipment calibration and quality assurance testing
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and imaging documentation
• Identify and report equipment or process issues as needed

Qualifications

Education

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in the state of New York
• CNMT or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification required
• CPR certification required
• CT certification/license preferred or required based on assignment

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and clinical teams
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with imaging systems and standard computer applications
