Organization: Job Summary: • New grads and experienced technologists welcome to apply! • PET experience required • Days - Monday - Friday • Located on main campus and working with an adult patient population. • Call required KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging. • Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards. • Provides appropriate Nuclear Med/PET screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards. • Assists in the orientation and training of new staff. • The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned. TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES • Compliance (Novice): Can explain and apply basic statutory instructions in normal situations on the job. Understands the principles upon which the rules and regulations are based. Appropriately escalates problems relating to rules and regulations in timely and effective manner. • Patient Documentation (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Generally works under the direction of others while accomplishing assignments. • Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate anatomy and physiology knowledge in practical applications of moderate difficulty. • Radiology (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate radiology services in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
