Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Jamaica, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: Contract Assignment
Weekly Hours: 35 Hours/Week

Compensation

  • Local Rate: Up to $2,775/Week (based on experience)
  • Travel Rate: Up to $3,353/Week (based on experience)

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a busy diagnostic imaging team in Jamaica, NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and compliance with all clinical protocols and regulatory standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience required
  • Experience operating nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging equipment preferred

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine training program
  • Military training programs accepted

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current ARRT certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine required
  • Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license with Injection Authorization required
  • Valid NYSDOH Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required
  • AHA BLS certification preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following established protocols and safety standards
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with state regulations
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment while ensuring quality control compliance
  • Monitor patient safety and provide compassionate patient care throughout procedures
  • Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support quality patient outcomes
