Hiring Bonus: $10,000 for eligible external hires who meet all requirements and bonus conditions Position Summary: Under minimal supervision, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs and documents high-quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians. This role supports the supervisor and radiologist, contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Nuclear Medicine department. The ideal candidate fosters positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues while ensuring exceptional patient care and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Perform and document nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) in a timely and accurate manner for all patient populations (infant through geriatric) as ordered by the physician Support the supervisor and radiologist in daily departmental operations Promote a cooperative, team-oriented environment within the department Uphold a high standard of patient care and safety throughout all procedures Ensure effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and fellow employees Maintain required documentation and compliance with applicable regulations and hospital policies Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Training program National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) upon hire National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N) upon hire California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience using cameras/computers from the same manufacturer as at Mission Hospital Experience performing nuclear medicine procedures for infant through adult patients Intravenous administration experience with pediatric patients Skills and Certifications: Required: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMTCB National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification National Provider BLS (AHA) Preferred: Experience with similar nuclear medicine equipment Pediatric IV administration skills Note: Externally hired applicants meeting all required qualifications and satisfying program conditions are eligible for a one-time $10,000 bonus.M
