• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $85.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours (Monday Friday); Orientation shifts: 0800 1630 (likely first two weeks). No weekends or holidays. Optional call shifts available (not required): Monday Friday 0430 2200, Saturday Sunday 0600 2200, 60-minute response time.
• Travel Requirements: Local radius is 50 miles. Please reach out to the Account Manager for local rate.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Nuclear Medicine Tech (Allied) travel contract position at an Acute Care Hospital in Orange, CA. The clinician will be expected to perform PET scans; prior experience is preferred, but the facility is willing to train on site. This is a reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) position 0 hours NBO versus the standard 40-hour NBO. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans
• Follow orientation schedule (0800 1630) during the likely first two weeks
• Adhere to a 5x8 Monday Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays required
• Optionally participate in on-call shifts (Monday Friday 0430 2200, Saturday Sunday 0600 2200) with a 60-minute response time, if interested

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• No first-time travelers; candidates with at least 2 years of experience may be screened
• Prior PET scan experience preferred; facility is willing to train on site
• Block schedule availability: Monday Friday
• RTO restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission
• Pending license not accepted
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• NMTCB certification required (ARRT also accepted)
• CA State license required (pending license not accepted)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted; candidates with at least 2 years of experience may be screened
