Work Schedule: Days with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours:

M-F , first shift, 7-3, 730-330; weekends 7a-1130a, call rotation on weekends 8a-4p

Summary:

Performs a variety of duties involving patient imaging, camera instrumentation, radiopharmaceutical preparation, in vitro non imaging procedures and student training, according to guidelines set forth by JCAHO, NYSDOH, CLIA, OSHA, ICANL, ACR and the Sisters of Charity Hospital Nuclear Medicine Department. Performs weekend emergency calls. May rotate to other Catholic Health Locations if applicable.

Responsibilities:

Education

  • BS Degree Nuclear Medicine Technology

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred
  • Current Certification or eligible by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear Medicine Registry (ARRT) (N).
  • New York State License as a "Nuclear Medicine Registered Technologist" and current New York State Department of Health certificate of registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
