Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join an imaging team in Torrance, California. This role is responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures using radionuclides to support diagnosis and treatment.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable performing a wide variety of nuclear medicine exams and technical imaging tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures using radionuclides.
  • Produce high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
  • Complete computer processing of imaging data and related technical tasks.
  • Exercise professional judgment during procedures.
  • Provide safe, ethical, and compassionate patient care.
  • Follow imaging protocols, safety standards, and department procedures.
  • Work closely with radiologists, providers, imaging leadership, and clinical team members.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technologist training program.
  • CNMT certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification upon hire.
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 6 months of nuclear medicine experience within the last year or at least 2 years of full-time nuclear medicine experience with no more than 1 year away from the field.
  • Strong patient care, communication, and imaging quality skills.
