Job Summary and Qualifications

We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist on a full-time basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful compassionate and respectful manner. Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to · Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans · Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians orders and record dosages accordingly · Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and produce images of organs on photographic film · Position patients and adjust immobilization devices · Compassionately explain procedures to patients and address any concerns · Monitor record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation · May assist with transporting patients as needed

Qualifications Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program Clearactive State of Florida Department of Health licensure CRT Current Nuclear Medicine credential NMTCB or ARRT N Minimum of one 1 year of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required Current basic life support BLS certification upon hire ACLS within 6 months of hire Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing bending reaching squatting kneeling moving lifting of patients andor equipment up to 50 lbs
