Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager I will manage and lead small to mid-sized capital projects, overseeing planning, scheduling, budgets, and execution with minimal oversight. They will lead teams, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget across refueling, forced outage, and online maintenance activities. This role requires experience with complex project management in commercial nuclear environments, including outage or online work management. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of error reduction and human performance improvement methods and hold a Project Management certification. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $47.79 - $82.75

Responsibilities:
* Manage projects and programs, including planning, scheduling, and controlling activities with minimal oversight
* Lead project teams of 5-10 members and direct daily project execution
* Establish project priorities and maintain awareness of all project aspects within scope
* Monitor project management processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
* Manage project budgets and partner with finance and project controls teams
* Coordinate with project managers, line managers, and cross-functional teams
* Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to projects
* Oversee small to medium capital projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and online maintenance
* Ensure work is completed safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget
* Oversee project implementation activities including budgeting, work package preparation, and procurement
* Support ALARA planning, industrial safety, nuclear safety, and work prioritization
* Manage resource loading and execution, including resolution of schedule delays and conflicts
* Develop budgets and track cost versus budget performance
* Interface with clients, engineers, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure project alignment
* Develop and manage contracts and coordinate with vendors
* Prepare and deliver written and verbal project updates to leadership and stakeholders
* Develop and maintain long-range project strategies
* Support implementation of self-assessment and corrective action programs
* Provide outage support, including OCC coordination
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related field from an accredited institution and 14 years of technical experience;
* OR AA/AS degree and 16 years of technical experience;
* OR High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of technical experience
* Advanced degree in a related field may substitute for 2 years of experience
* Experience with error reduction and human performance improvement methods
* Knowledge of cost effective work execution methodologies
* Experience managing complex projects, online work management, or refueling and forced outage activities
* Proficiency in advanced project management techniques within commercial nuclear power
