Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager III will lead large-scale, multidisciplinary projects exceeding $10M, driving planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery of complex, high-risk initiatives. The role oversees cross-functional teams, reviews technical documentation, and ensures quality, efficiency, and alignment with project objectives. Requires strong expertise in EPC processes, Primavera P6, EVM, and risk management, with the ability to analyze and communicate complex project scenarios. Candidates must have commercial nuclear power plant experience, an active PMP, and a proven track record supporting large-scale construction projects. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $58.9 - $102.38

Responsibilities:
* Lead complex, multidisciplinary projects and programs valued at more than $10M total cost, including planning, scheduling, execution, and control of activities with minimal supervision.
* Direct project teams of 10+ members and support large-scale, high-risk initiatives requiring strong leadership, sound judgment, and cross-functional coordination.
* Establish project priorities and maintain visibility into all aspects of assigned projects to support successful delivery.
* Review key project documentation to identify opportunities to improve schedule performance, quality, and resource efficiency.
* Identify errors, gaps, and misconceptions in project plans and documentation, and recommend corrective actions to support successful implementation.
* Review and provide input on project documentation, including schedules, implementation means and methods, risk registers, work orders, quality control inspections, test and commissioning plans, turnover strategies, materials and tooling plans, resource load boards, budgets/estimates, radiological strategies, and rigging/material handling plans.
* Validate the quality of all Work Order Tasks (WOTs) associated with assigned scope before field execution and in accordance with Columbia work management processes for both online and outage work.
* Remediate WOTs that lack quality, contain incorrect references, create error traps, or include poorly written instructions.
* Review, comment on, and recommend improvements to testing and acceptance plans, including factory, shop, site, mock-up, post-modification, and related activities.
* Identify activities or processes that would benefit from a mock-up and provide guidance to ensure mock-ups are effective and impactful.
* Communicate relevant personal and industry Operating Experience and develop response strategies to support project execution.
* Serve as the ASME PIC for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope, as needed.
* Maintain broad knowledge of applicable codes, standards, technologies, technical skill sets, implementation strategies, and industry trends related to Enterprise Risk Projects.
* Provide timely, candid feedback to Project Managers, Oversight Managers, and department leadership on project strategy, implementation plans, and execution risks.
