Nurse .40 FTE ( District Wide)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse
• Minimum of two years supervised nursing experience in community health or child health
• Certified in CPR

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide coverage throughout district schools when nursing staff are absent
• Assess and evaluate the students'' health
• Provide emergency care in case of injury or sudden illness
• Provide information as necessary on frequently encountered health problems, such as: child neglect and abuse drug use and abuse, human nutrition and adolescent pregnancy
• Provide required health service for school personnel.
• Provide for personal care needs of physically handicapped pupil as required in their educational plans

Principal and/or other Supervisor

SALARY:

$19,016 in accordance with teachers'' contract
