Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Aide II -Emergency Department - Part Time - Days - 7am -7. 00 pm- Alternate Weekend - NSG-Emer.
In this role, the successful candidate Under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse, assists the nursing and medical staff by performing identified service and established procedures to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients. Maintains patient care areas in a clean and orderly condition; prepares equipment and supplies according to established procedure and transports patients as needed. Participates in the orientation process of new employees.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School diploma or GED. BLS certification (AHA only), and first aid training.
De-escalation training on job.
EMT certificate or prior hospital/sub-acute experience or be a nursing student
Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients and their families that demonstrate recognition of cultural diversity.
Basic analytical skills in order to gather data, complete comparisons, interpret and report outcomes to the nurse or document on the medical record.
Must have excellent customer service and telephone skills.
Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
