Pay & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $30.25/hour (plus overtime at $45.37/hour if applicable)
  • Pay Package: Discussed upon application

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct initial assessments and investigations of child maltreatment reports
  • Perform safety and risk evaluations for children and families
  • Develop, monitor, and enforce safety and intervention plans
  • Document case activities thoroughly and accurately
  • Prepare reports for court proceedings and provide professional recommendations
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, legal entities, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
What You Need
Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Family Studies, or a related field
  • Valid state license (if applicable)
  • Prior experience working in child welfare investigations (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with professionalism

Preferred:
  • Experience in child maltreatment investigations and safety assessments
  • Knowledge of local child welfare laws and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
