- Perform patient admissions, assessments, care planning, and discharge coordination.
- Provide direct nursing care to adult behavioral health patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Assess and manage patients with co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency conditions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies.
- Respond effectively to behavioral crises using approved de-escalation and intervention techniques.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Certifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification or equivalent certification in the
- Management of Assaultive Patients prior to the start date

The RN will be responsible for conducting patient admissions, performing comprehensive daily assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and coordinating safe discharges.
