Nurse Coordinator
Location: Camden, NJ
Shift/hours: 40 hours/weekly, 8am – 430pm
Position Overview
The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing all clinical aspects of patient care within a designated specialty or outpatient practice. This role works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, seamless care transitions, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Work within designated center of excellence to coordinate all clinical aspects of the Neurological Institute's practice, working closely with the treatment team of Neurosurgeons and staff.
Demonstrate a comprehensive clinical knowledge of treatment indications, assist with organizing weekly conferences, protocol follow up, education, and clinical care of patient.
Work collaboratively with physicians to provide community education, first responder education, as well as peer education.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
3+ years Neurosurgical Nursing experience and background a plus.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
