Job Title: Nurse Educator
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator to join our Professional Development Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that provide continuing education credits. Key responsibilities include participating in new employee orientation, collaborating with local nursing schools on student practicum placements, establishing clinical competencies, and managing the operation of the Simulation Lab, including scenario creation, equipment maintenance, and data collection for learning outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with clinical staff and contribute to the ongoing professional development of our nursing team.
Schedule:
Orientation Dates: 6/23, 7/14, 7/28
Shift: Monday-Friday, Business Hours (flexible start/end times)
Hours per week: Full-time
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years RN experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- MA License required
- BLS certification required
- Professional development or education certifications are a plus but not mandatory
Hourly Pay Rate: $75.17
