Summary
Assist the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care according to BayCare role-specific responsibilities of a Nurse Helper I. Directed by the RN. Assist with patient care without encountering any body fluids, i.e. blood, urine, stool, saliva, dirty linens, emesis, etc. or any devices that contain body fluids such as but not limited to urinary catheters, nasogastric tubes, drains used basins, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. • Standard WELLE training is required. • Must complete Nurse Helper training class prior to orientation on the nursing unit.

• HS Graduate or Equivalent
