Pay: $100,000 to $120,000annually plus benefits.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse House Administrator to lead our hospital overnight nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of the hospital setting. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care while effectively managing nursing operations.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional development and adherence to best practices.
• Coordinate patient care activities, including assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Manage utilization management processes to optimize patient outcomes and resource allocation.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient records using systems such as Athenahealth.
• Conduct training sessions on anatomy knowledge, venipuncture techniques, and acute pain management protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care strategies and improve overall service delivery.
• Implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Experience

• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational health practices and standards is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with home care services and senior care management will be an asset.
• Experience with utilization management processes is beneficial.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly Athenahealth, is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge, venipuncture procedures, and acute pain management techniques is essential.
