As a Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) with Canopy Pines Recovery, you’ll deliver hands-on nursing care that keeps clients safe, supported, and moving forward in a substance use disorder treatment setting. This role exists to strengthen continuity of care across detox and residential services while upholding strict clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards.
Key responsibilities include medication and treatment administration per orders and policy; monitoring and reporting changes in condition, withdrawal presentation, medication effects, and behavioral concerns; supporting admissions, intakes, and nursing assessments; responding to medical/behavioral emergencies within scope; completing vitals, UDS collection, and medication counts; and maintaining timely, accurate EMR documentation while following HIPAA and applicable Florida requirements.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Current, unrestricted Florida LPN license
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Behavioral health/detox/psychiatric/SUD experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, boundaries, and confidentiality
