Provides leadership, coordination, and operational oversight for nursing and clinical support services within a pediatric ambulatory primary or specialty care site. The Ambulatory Nurse Manager is accountable for safe, efficient, family-centered care delivery; daily clinical operations; and the effective use of human, material, and financial resources to support quality outcomes, access, and an exceptional patient and family experience.
This role partners closely with providers, practice leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to standardize workflows, support regulatory and accreditation readiness, develop staff, and drive continuous improvement across the site. The manager fosters a culture of accountability, professional growth, collaboration, and evidence-based practice while advancing the goals of Nemours Children's Health and supporting high-quality pediatric ambulatory care.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications:
BSN required
Master's in nursing or related field preferred.
Five years clinical experience required, preferably at least one year in pediatrics.
Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice; knowledge of management theory and change process.
Previous management experience required.
Active registered nurse licensure for appropriate state (based on location of practice site) or multistate RN licensure
Required certification in nursing administration and/or certification in a clinical specialty desired
Current AHA Healthcare (HCP) certification required
