    Description:

    AL Nurse Manager - The Oaks

    The Oaks Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee and coordinate the delivery of healthcare services to our residents. The Nurse Manager plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the highest level of clinical care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a passion for working with seniors in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and lead nursing and caregiving staff, ensuring high-quality care in accordance with state regulations and company policies

    • Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care

    • Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care

    • Manage medication administration, documentation, and resident medical records

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare standards, licensing, and safety regulations

    • Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations

    • Participate in the development and monitoring of care plans and risk assessments

    • Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide leadership during crisis situations

    • Monitor infection control practices and ensure best practices are followed

    • Participate in resident admissions and discharges, including initial and ongoing assessments

    • Maintain effective communication with residents and families regarding care needs and updates

    • Support a culture of respect, dignity, and resident-centered care

    Qualifications:

    • Current and active LPN license in the State of Michigan

    • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role in senior care or assisted living

    • Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

    • Knowledge of assisted living regulations and standards

    • CPR/First Aid certification required

    • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed
