Job Overview – Nurse Manager
Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000/year
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Nurse Manager in Brooklyn, NY for our client, supporting clinical operations, nursing leadership, staff development, and quality improvement within an outpatient healthcare environment. This role oversees nursing and medical support teams while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient patient care across multiple locations. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical leadership experience and a proven ability to develop teams and improve healthcare operations.

Responsibilities as the Nurse Manager:
  • Clinical Leadership: Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure consistent, safe, and high-quality patient care across assigned locations.
  • Staff Management: Lead and supervise nursing and medical support teams while providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
  • Workforce Planning: Develop staffing plans, coordinate coverage, and maintain appropriate clinical resources based on operational needs.
  • Quality Improvement: Partner with leadership on clinical quality, performance improvement, patient service, and operational initiatives.
  • Training & Development: Ensure clinical staff receive appropriate onboarding, continuing education, EHR training, and additional systems training.
  • Clinical Compliance: Maintain nursing standards, policies, procedures, and documentation practices in accordance with applicable clinical and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for the Nurse Manager:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license and current registration are required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional nursing experience is required, with 3+ years of nursing leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Outpatient healthcare experience and prior supervision of nurses or other clinical staff are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with electronic health record systems and proficiency with standard healthcare technology and business applications are required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, coaching, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
