Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Current New York State Registered Nurse license
Experience in nursing care practice
Experience with substance abuse
CPR certification or ability to obtain during employment
Fluency in written and spoken English
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
Qualifications
Demonstrated understanding of the needs of clients with HIV/AIDS and substance abuse
Ability to see, hear, and speak to clients
Experience in patient care team training
Familiarity with infection control and confidentiality guidelines
Proven skills in patient education and self-care management
Capability to manage patient care plans and transitions
Proficiency in using electronic medical records
