    Description

    Position Details

    We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead clinical operations, support high-quality patient care, and oversee nursing and ancillary clinical staff within our ambulatory and community-based care environment. This role is ideal for a licensed Registered Nurse who brings strong clinical judgment, operational leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.

    Supervises: Nurses and ancillary clinical staff
    FLSA Status: Exempt
    Travel: As needed for training, conferences, and movement between sites

    Compensation: Compensation is based on the organization's approved salary structure and will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead day-to-day clinical operations for assigned service areas and support alignment with organizational goals, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Supervise, coach, develop, and support nurses and ancillary clinical staff through regular guidance, training, and performance management.
    • Partner with executive and clinical leadership to improve workflows, patient outcomes, quality initiatives, and operational effectiveness.
    • Ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation, assessments, care plans, audits, and follow-up processes.
    • Oversee compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including privacy, safety, infection control, and clinical quality standards.
    • Support staffing, interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, and retention efforts for nursing and clinical support roles.
    • Monitor clinical quality, patient safety, and performance metrics, and recommend improvements based on trends and operational needs.
    • Coordinate with providers, hospitals, health plans, pharmacies, and community-based partners to support continuity of care.
    • Manage medical supplies, equipment readiness, and selected administrative reporting responsibilities.
    • Participate in quality improvement, risk management, accreditation readiness, and staff education activities across the organization.

    Required Qualifications

    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, clinical operations, healthcare administration, or a related healthcare leadership setting.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience supervising clinical staff in an ambulatory, outpatient, community health, or similar care environment.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, risk management practices, and patient privacy requirements.
    • Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and team leadership skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, master's degree preferred.
    • Experience supporting quality improvement programs, accreditation readiness, chart audits, or performance improvement initiatives.
    • Experience with interdisciplinary care models and community-based partnerships.
    • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar clinical systems.
